Auctions On EBay: A Dying Breed

Bruce Hershenson, who auctions vintage posters online, is hanging up his eBay gavel. I've left eBay after nearly 10 years of buying and selling, and I don't plan on coming back. They have hurt lots of small sellers by their policy changes, and if you want to see the real story behind the changes, just go to the eBay Seller Central discussion forum. Scams, non-paying bidders, even buyers who will leave negative feedback for...I kid you not...having mixed colors of packing popcorn. It is now open season on sellers, and eBay has not only made lots of enemies of sellers and has ruined the buyer/seller relationship. Don't believe what you hear in the press. It doesn't begin to show the true nature of things on eBay. Why do you think Meg Whitman selling so much of her stock?
